EUREKA!
(60 x 11 minutes)

As Art Director for Disney Junior’s Eureka!, I was responsible for establishing the overarching look and design philosophy of the series, spanning costumes, props, and sets. The visual direction was inspired by naturally occurring materials like clay, stone, wood, leaves, and bamboo, crafting a vibrant prehistoric world that seamlessly integrated our characters into its lush jungle environment. Organic architectural elements further enhanced the natural sets, adding charm and authenticity.
I developed key locations, including Eureka’s house exterior, the Paleo Diner, and various interiors, creating a unique fusion of whimsical and prehistoric architecture. Each design embodied an inviting, handcrafted aesthetic that captured the heart of the show.
I managed a team of up to 12 designers, providing visual notes and paintovers to the modeling, texturing, and lighting departments. This ensured the cohesive style and artistic integrity of the series were maintained throughout production all the way from the 2D sketches to the final piece.
